Very happy to recommend Mike and his knowledge and methods in helping us learn strategies to alleviate separation anxiety in our two beautiful furry boys. I live in a small apartment and both Max and Teddy would get under my feet particularly in the bathroom and kitchen which became very frustrating. Also excessive barking which again was a sign of anxiety. After Mike’s education and sometimes confronting yet very necessary approach, my dogs are born again. They are less stressed, less anxious and I am enjoying them both so much more. It’s always going to be work in progress but Mike has given us the tools to continue our journey and to correct behaviour that is not conducive to a happy pooch. After my dog was attacked at 6 months old, I was left dealing with dog reactivity, leash pulling and never knowing how he was going to react in certain situations. Both my dog and I were anxious messes. I experienced this for 2 years before I found Mike and I was worried that he was already set in his ways By session 3, we could sit out the front of a busy dog park with Copper looking at ease and after a few months of training on my own, Copper and I can enjoy going to markets, beaches and parks, all within the vicinity of other dogs without reactivity. I have even been able to successfully introduce him to a friends dog - something I could have never felt comfortable with in the past. I cant thank Mike enough for the difference he has made for us and our future. Trust the process! ~ FC P
My partner and i contacted Mike with major concerns about our Mini dachshund. From the first phone call Mike was very understanding and professional which led us to book him in for 3 sessions. Early within the first session we saw major improvements, Mikes knowledge of how to handle dogs in situations was very impressive. He was constantly reassuring us throughout the lesson and left us with key points to work on. The following 2 lessons saw big improvements again! Our Sausage wouldn't be able to go within 20 meters of another dog yet mike had her standing next to other dogs with no issue at all.
